Photographing Deepa and Dharmesh’s Indian wedding was a blast! A beautiful HIndu wedding in the morning and then a reception party that was insane, one of the wildest I’ve ever shot.

I met Deepa and Dharmesh a few months back when I captured their civil wedding and I was thrilled to document their Hindu wedding and reception party. I also had two other couples at the wedding, so it was great to catch up with them too.

The wedding took place at The Great Barn in Harrow. I loved that it’s just a five-minute drive from my home (bonus!). It’s a really cute barn and it’s quite unique as a wedding venue since there aren’t many barns in the area that can host Indian weddings. It was the perfect backdrop for Deepa and Dharmesh’s wedding, and Om Creatives did an amazing job with the mandap and décor setup.

The day started with the traditional Hindu wedding, conducted by Pandit Ram Bhai. He delivered the Vedic wedding ceremony in his charismatic way.The wedding ceremony was full of small, intimate moments and expressions that I loved capturing. Deepa and Dharmesh are such a fun and happy couple, and their personalities shine through in the photos. That’s something I love being able to show.

Once the Hindu wedding was over, it was time to party and I didn’t expect how wild it would be! I even stayed until the very end, because I didn’t want to miss out on capturing the fun, madness, killer and dance moves (and lots of expressions, alcohol, and amazing music). DJ Nills, you were on fire, so much so that I think the dancing photographs show how crazy the party was.

Deepa, Dharmesh, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day. I had an absolute blast with you and your loved ones, and I can’t wait to see you again soon!
