Photographing Vanisha and Kabir’s Hindu wedding events were an absolute joy! I had the pleasure of photographing three Pre-wedding events in the build-up to the main day so I got to know everyone really well and I genuinely felt like one of the family.
I met Vanisha and Kabir in person a few weeks prior to the wedding, but I felt like I was photographing friends that I’ve known for a long time and this helped me blend in and enjoy myself thoroughly.
The Hindu wedding ceremony was beautifully conducted by Milan Mehta and the day was a rollercoaster of emotions. For me, I loved capturing the little moments throughout the day where you see Vanisha and Kabir’s personalities where you can see/feel how close they are with their families. I feel that this is really important to document as these real moments, as they matter the most on a wedding day, in addition to the rituals being performed. I’ll let the photographs do the talking as this is a set that I’m very excited to share.
