A few weeks back, I had the pleasure of photographing Disha and Vivan’s stunning Hindu Wedding which took place at Hedsor House in Windsor and what a lot of fun it was!
Despite the rain, everyone was in the great spirits! In true Punjabi style Viv arrived with his friends and family dancing with a lot of energy and excitement. Both sides of the family partied hard before the ceremonies began.
A fond memory of mine was the milni ceremony which is when the heads of both families garland each other and then they attempt to lift each other up, you’ll see below who won…the facial expressions are priceless!
The wedding ceremony was a small intimate one which was beautifully conducted by Kamal Pandey which was thoroughly enjoyed by all guest. Both Disha and Viv looked absolutely stunning on the day and I loved photographing them both, their smiles, closeness and fun personalities! Some amazing moments were captured which I know will be treasured for a lifetime.
I’ve had a fantastic time getting to know Disha, Viv and their families, it was a pleasure capturing their special day and getting to know everyone, thank you for making me feel very welcome 🙂 Here are a few of the moments from the Hindu wedding which I hope you enjoy viewing.
