Aisha and Rishi’s Hindu wedding and Civil was a long time coming and it was totally worth the wait.
After multiple date changes and even a change from having their events in Cardiff to London, Aisha and Rishi finally tied the knot and what an incredible few days of celebration it was!
I met Aisha and Rishi back in June on their pre wedding shoot and we totally hit it off. They said they were awkward infront of the camera, but I think they are total naturals. After the preshoot, I was really looking forward to being part of their celebrations as I knew it would be something special.
Aisha and Rishi’s Hindu wedding and reception party took place in the Ballroom at JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London and it was beautifully transformed by Dream Occasions. Rishi arrived in style in an awesome Indian Tuk Tuk with LOTS of noise and brightly coloured flares down Park Lane, I’m sure the tourists were loving the scenes as much as I was capturing them!
The Hindu wedding ceremony was beautifully conducted by Pandit Soham Acharya who explained the wedding rituals in the perfect way. I knew the wedding ceremony would be full of emotion and I loved seeing the day as it unfolded. While documenting, I loved seeing the smiles between Aisha and Rishi as they were totally enjoying the moments! Check out the expressions, some of them are priceless! It’s easy to see that Aisha is very close to her family as the vidhai (leaving ceremony) was really emotional with lots of tears. Even though they are sad moments, they are priceless which I’m sure the family will appreciate.
Once the wedding ceremony was over, it was time to celebrate and DAMN, these guys partied Hard! DJ Vish hosted the evening and as usual, he rocked the dance floor which was packed out throughout the night! Awesome food, excellent speeches, incredible bar, lots of dancing and your nearest people, what more do need hey?
Aisha and Rishi, thank you So much for having me there to capture your wedding events, it’s been amazing being part of your wedding celebrations and I know these memories will last a lifetime and beyond!
