Nandita and Chand’s Civil at Braxted Park

I originally spoke to Nandita and Chand back in August 2019 and we got on like a house on fire. During the build-up to the wedding, we’ve chatted a lot on our WhatsApp group and I was looking to photographing their Hindu wedding and reception party at Braxted Park in August 2020. Then Corona happened and well, you know – MEH! All that planning for their dream wedding got pushed to 2021. Having said that, Nandita and Chand were determined to do their civil wedding on their original wedding date and I’m so glad they were able to.

The civil was the first time I was meeting Nandita and Chand in person and after all of our conversations/video calls etc, I felt like I’ve known them for a long time, it was pure fun being around them and their closest friends and family.

The civil ceremony was a beautiful intimate one within the Manor at Braxted Estate, it was full of emotion, beautiful speeches, lots of confetti and I’m sure everyone was smiling throughout under their masks. Even though only a small number of guests were able to attend, everyone fully enjoyed the ceremony and I was honoured to be able to capture Nandita and Chand’s special day. When you look at the photographs, all you see is pure happiness from everyone.
